Centrally located in Stockholm, this corner apartment of 269 square meters was originally divided into eight rooms with two separate entrances and two separate kitchens. Thus, the apartment could be converted into two smaller apartments with three rooms and a balcony each. The starting point in this project was to preserve the floor's beautiful original details in Art Nouveau style. A better flow through the apartments and more storage space has been created. A limited range of colors and the combination of the smooth surface of natural stone create a robust but elegant atmosphere. With tactility in the materials and through careful details, a comfortable home was formed into two that encapsulated the essence of living.
